Thirty nine volunteers hit the road to gulf on Saturday morning. The volunteers, who were either University of Phoenix affiliates or members of the local HandsOn Bay Area community, transformed Burton High School and El Dorado Elementary School in San Francisco by painting a hallway, collecting trash, building a set for the school's theater department, and mulching a hillside that is the final key to connecting a park and greenway in Vistacion…

Cooking for others never felt so good. On Friday, 2/4, volunteers from LifeScan blew through the seemingly impossible task of preparing a meal for over 70 people in less than 1.5 hours. Maria Dela Rosa, LifeScan's volunteer coordinator, said, "We were are all pretty amazed on how everything came together. It proves that anything is possible with great teamwork and passion to helps others."
