A Place at The Table at Sunnyvale Community Services Monday August 23

I had such a good time at this event!



HOBA came by to help Sunnyvale Community Services sort goods and pack them into paper bags. It was major labor!



We formed an assembly line and everyone put a different item into the bag. Others helped refill the supplies, break down boxes, and I took the filled bags and piled them up.



We packed hundreds of bags!



I'm left with a sore back, fingers, and some blisters but it was well worth it for a good… Continue

Lend a Hand with KaBOOM

On Saturday July 31, dozens of volunteers ventured to the Daly City Boys and Girls Club to build a playground designed by kids in the area. KaBOOM, a nonprofit that plans playground builds across the country, partnered with other organizations to get volunteers and plan the event.
